Paulette grew up in Hawaii, surfing and riding horses competitively. When she moved to San Diego to get her degree from SDSU in Kinesiology with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy, she began taking pilates and yoga classes. It was love at first class. In 2002, she got her pilates mat and apparatus certification from The Physical Mind Institute via Maria Leone at Bodyline Studio. In 2005, she got her 200RYT certification from Prana Yoga in La Jolla. She’s been a dedicated ashtanga yogi for the last 8 years. And in 2010 she got her Lagree method certification. In 2012 she found the circus arts and began teaching and performing on the lyra (aerial hoop) and partner trapeze. She’s taught the gamet from professional athletes to 80 year olds recovering from hip surgery. She believes pilates is for everyone and is dedicated to creating a program to help each person benefit from this workout. In her spare time, she loves to travel, paint, craft and read.
