DELAINA SATTERFIELD

PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Delaina was introduced to Pilates following a scoliosis spinal fusion, in which her T10–L4 vertebrae were fused. After being recommended Pilates as part of her recovery, she quickly fell in love with the practice - and experienced firsthand the transformative power of mindful movement. Through Pilates, she found strength, mobility, confidence, and a deep appreciation for what her body can do.

She believes movement is one of life’s greatest gifts - and Pilates is a powerful way to reconnect with it. Her classes are uplifting, challenging, and rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to feel good in their body. Whether you're healing, growing, or just starting out, she’s here to support and cheer you on every step of the way.

Delaina completed her 500-hour comprehensive training through Body Arts and Science International (BASI), and has training in the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, Mat, and Spine Corrector apparatuses. Originally from South Carolina, she studied at the College of Charleston, spent three exciting years in New York City, and now calls sunny San Diego home.
