Rachel grew up in Wisconsin and has been moving further west since, landing in San Diego in the fall of 2022. Rachel is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Pilates Rehabilitation Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Purdue University in 2016, received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Southwestern Dallas in 2018 and has completed her 551-hour comprehensive Pilates training through Polestar Pilates. Along with her education, she has been teaching group fitness since 2012. Her postdoctoral education has focused on women’s health and pelvic health physical therapy through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Institute.
She enjoys working with clients of all ages to reduce pain, improve mobility and bridge the gap between traditional physical therapy and fitness programming. She is a firm believer that our health and well-being are multifaceted and that a successful approach needs to be holistic, addressing mind, body, and spirit. She also loves to have fun and challenges her clients and classes to reshape their relationship with exercise and their bodies to create positive movement experiences that are sustainable and create lasting change.
